The 3rd transnational project meeting was held on 23 January, 2020 in Finland at the University of Helsinki (Main Library Kaisa). Aim of the event was to revise the activities already carried out and plan the next short-term steps.
Fifteen experts – representing all project partners – participated in the meeting. It was opened by Annamari Heikinheimo (UH). Then, after a general overview given by Francesca Pompei (IZSAM), Valentina Castello (UNIVAQ) and Maria Siwek (UTP) presented the state of art and outcomes with particular reference to IO1 and IO3. Next short-term steps to be carried out were also discussed.
On 24 January 2020, the first multiplier event was also organised at the University of Helsinki (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – Viikki Campus) with the aim to present the project and in particular the new profile of the “Food Microbial Bioinformatician”. About 25 experts belonging to competent authorities, universities, research institutes and technological centres participated in the event.
